Where I start with?

Hope you will be having a skill(eg:core java or C,C++) be stick on that don't jump to some other skills, if you are looking for an entry level job. Even if you don't have any of the skills..... NO worries !!! only few steps to win..

  • Learn the basics of programming (not language level but logic of programming)
  • Exercise Puzzles Example, Aptitude Questions…….do more work on this
  • Read article about Group Discussion and practice (debate with your freinds).
  • Make a good resume.
  • Read more in your skills area…try to learn new things

C &C++ programs: Practice the fallowing programs before the interview:

சின்ன சின்ன ப்ரோகிராம் எந்த நேரத்தில் கொடுத்தாலும் போடுமாறு தெரிந்து வைத்துக் கொள்ளவும்

Factorial, Fibonacci, prime number, palindrome for strings and numbers, swap with out using temporary variables, string copy, concatenate, matrix multiplications, single double linked list by using pointers. Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion program, and practice all simple programs

DBMS: Prepare all DBMS concepts and should perfect in Normalization, SQL, Indexing, Hashing, Cursors, Triggers, Different types of joins. (Practice sql quires very well)

Networks: OSI, TCP/IP reference models, topologies, Ethernet, FDDI, Token ring, Routing, ATM, and IP addressing. Switch, hub and read other protocols. Data structures, Sorting, searching, stack, queue, Linked lists, tree, BFS, DFS. Mainly we should read

Software Engineering: software development models, different strategies of testing (unit testing, integration testing…), Types of testing (white or black box),

Project: It is very important to visit the company site before the interview Anything can be asked depending on the panel member.
